Visiting For The First time
We have off street parking especially for visitors. If you enter from Eileen Street, this is immediately on your left. A covered walkway leads to your right to the front door.
Our normal car parking area is also available in marked out bays onsite between the buildings that make up our site. Street parking is also available; please consider our neighbours when parking on the street.
Glebe Road Uniting has a “come as you are” casual atmosphere, and we have no expectations for attire. We do all that we can to make you feel welcomed during your visit. Pew Bibles are provided, or, you may bring your own.
Before or after the service, please stop by the First Time foyer desk to introduce yourself. We’d love to meet you and answer any questions you may have.
Your children are a top priority at Glebe Road Uniting Church. Our environments are clean, safe, and staffed with loving, trained volunteers. Through our Extreme ministry we strive to provide a fun, interactive, and educational experience. All primary school aged children are welcome to attend.
In the 10:15 service, there is a full Children’s Ministry in operation. There is a ‘sign-in and sign-out’ system in place and groups are separated by age, from toddlers up. Children always stay in the congregation for Baptisms and Communion celebrations and are accompanied back to the main auditorium at the end of each service.
How Do I Connect?
Attending a service of worship is a great place to start. There are various groups and activities for all ages and stages of life that you are most welcome to participate in. There are groups for personal growth and discipleship, fun and friendship, community service and outreach.
Check out the current activities and upcoming events online, or drop into the Church Office, or Church Foyer when attending worship, to pick up a copy of our Welcome Brochure.
Please feel free to use the special email form on the right to privately leave us your details and we will be sure to reach back to you during the week.
I hope that you enjoy visiting with us and that you are able to join with us as we live as the church which we are intended to be; praying for one another, our city and our nation.Peter Arnett
