Pastoral Care Network
The Pastoral Care Network is a safety net of integrated care across the life of our church family. Each person who belongs to the Congregation receives the care, encouragement and support, of someone who is trained in pastoral care and who expresses a genuine compassion for others.
Intercessory Prayer Group
The Intercessory Prayer Group provides confidential prayer support which can be tailored to the needs and wishes of those requesting prayer. This prayer support is managed by the Minister on a personal level.
Prayer Link Network
Prayer Link is a team of more than forty people who pray on behalf of others who request help with prayer. (see Timothy 2:1-3).
Members are encouraged to request prayer, either from the Prayer Link group (a moderated forum) or from the Intercessory Prayer Group if details are private. We all need the prayer and support of others – Paul requests prayer, Rom 5:30, “I appeal to you brothers, by our Lord Jesus Christ and by the love of the Spirit, to strive together with me in your prayers to God on my behalf.
Home Communion is a sacramental ministry and expression of pastoral care offered to members and adherents of the Glebe Rd UC who are unable to attend a service of worship. This ministry is offered to those who may be permanently or temporarily incapacitated and absent from worship for a significant period of time.
We would welcome the chance to join with you in your prayer life. Please feel free to use this form to put your prayer points in front of our Intercessory Team. (requests are not published)
