Welcome

Welcome to Ipswich Uniting Church – Glebe Road.

We are entering the season of Pentecost in which we celebrate the outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon the followers of Jesus, and the birth of the Christian Church. This is an ideal time to connect with the church through Sunday morning worship, or one of the many activities taking place each week.

We have experienced a significant disruption to congregational life as a result of the recent fire in the Church Auditorium. However, restoration work is well underway and the Church Hall is now functional again. Plans are being made for re-imagining the interior of the Church Auditorium and we are very excited about the opportunities that God is providing for us through this unexpected event.

I am delighted to welcome Sarah Rothery to the Ministry Team. Sarah has been engaged as our Youth & Young Adults Pastor and will be ministering across the four locations of Ipswich Uniting Church, while based at Glebe Road. Sarah will be leading our engagement with young people across the City of Ipswich.

Are you looking for a church that is engaged with the wider community, offers a variety of worship experiences, provides ministry for people of all generations with an emphasis on families, and is praying for spiritual renewal? Then, come and check us out. A warm and friendly welcome awaits you.

Blessings,
Pete.
