Glebe Road Uniting Church

built on Faith, immersed in Love, empowered for Action.

Our Philosophy

We are a people on a faith journey
… seeking to be led and empowered by the Spirit of God to reach and influence lives;
to serve as Christ’s hands and feet,
… called to “Act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly” with God.
Built on Faith , Immersed in Love and Empowered for Action.

Our Mission

Across all of church life and activity we:
• focus on FAITH through Spirit led worship, Biblical teaching and intentional prayer..
• focus on LOVE , unity, connectedness, and belonging..
• focus on ACTION through using the gifts God has given us, to make a difference in our world.

Services Times

Sunday Family Worship Services, under current COVID_19 conditions:
08:15 Sunday – traditional family service.
10:15 Sunday- contemporary family service with children’s programme.

Welcome

The remnants of our hot cross buns are charred crumbs in the bottom of the toaster. All that remains of the Easter eggs are scrunched up pieces of brightly coloured foil littering the living room floor.

However, the life-transforming power of the crucified and risen Christ remains the source of hope and freedom in our broken and hurting world. Easter makes a difference in the way we live our lives and at Glebe Road Uniting Church we seek to live as people who share the hope and freedom that Jesus Christ offers to all.

This Sunday we will be exploring the response of the disciples to the risen Christ. Some believed while others doubted. How do we respond in our daily lives and what difference does this make to our relationships with others?

We will also share together in an introduction to our upcoming teaching and LIFE Group series entitled Five Practices of Fruitful Congregations.

We would love to welcome you to worship at 8:15am and 10:15am this Sunday, 11th April. Please come and join in the worship and hospitality. I look forward to seeing you there!

Blessings,
Pete.
